Our Story

Founded by Lin Pan, an internationally acclaimed pianist and educator, Astra Plays was born from the realization that musical theater can serve as a window into a child's world.

During her years in education, Lin observed that many children who were once too shy to express themselves found a newfound confidence and identity through musical theater. This transformation not only allowed them to discover and embrace their unique voices but also reinforced her commitment to bringing the magic of musical theater to more young people, regardless of their background.

Astra Plays has completed its first full cycle of creation, featuring five original songs and complete scripts developed by young performers and professional artists. These works earned a Gold Award at a national musical theater competition in the U.S., proving the platform's artistic and educational value.
